Step into a different side of Osaka on this 2-hour guided walking tour of Karahori, a nostalgic and historic area that survived the fires of World War II. Just three train stops from bustling Namba, Karahori feels like a different world—quiet, traditional, and filled with local charm.
Led by a passionate local guide, this tour takes you deep into the heart of Osaka’s past, through winding alleys, retro shopping arcades, and traditional merchant homes (some over 100–200 years old). Many of these wooden houses have been lovingly preserved or repurposed into cozy cafés and boutiques, offering a glimpse of a slower, more intimate Osaka.

- Stroll through a local market street rarely seen by tourists
- Enter hidden alleys and side streets not marked on guidebooks
- Visit a traditional tatami mat shop still in operation
