Full Description

This full-day guided trip begins in Kyoto, Shin-Osaka, or Hiroshima. Travel via high-speed bullet train (for Kyoto and Osaka participants) and board a comfortable air-conditioned bus upon arrival in Hiroshima.

Start the day at Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, where you’ll visit the somber and powerful A-Bomb Dome—a preserved ruin from the atomic bombing. Learn about Hiroshima’s tragic past and the city’s ongoing message of peace and hope.

Next, take a short ferry ride to Miyajima Island, famous for its scenic beauty and rich cultural heritage. Explore the Itsukushima Shrine, known for its striking red torii gate that appears to float on the sea during high tide.
