This immersive food and culture walking tour takes you deep into Hiroshima’s casual dining scene. The evening starts in the bustling downtown area near Don Quijote Hiroshima Hacchobori, where you’ll meet your bilingual guide. From there, your journey through Hiroshima’s nightlife begins.

You’ll explore popular local areas such as Hondori Shopping Street and Nagarekawa Dori, known for their vibrant mix of eateries, bars, and entertainment venues. Along the way, you’ll get to know the city’s rhythm and daily life after dark.

The culinary experience unfolds across three distinct restaurants, each offering a variety of Hiroshima-style dishes. Many of these restaurants are tachinomi—standing bars where locals gather to share food and drinks in a casual, social setting. Typically, at least one stop will offer seated dining.

Over the course of the evening, you’ll sample at least ten different dishes, ranging from fresh sashimi and tempura to simmered and grilled favorites. The menu often features regional delicacies that visitors rarely discover on their own. Vegetarian or dietary needs can be accommodated with advance notice.
