Grand Bon Dance – Owari/Nagoya-Style

Join hundreds of others around a unique Japanese cypress-wood stage for one of Japan’s most memorable communal dances. This bon odori lasts nine nights, blending history, rhythm, and summer magic.

  • Special Day: August 15 is Grampus Day, a celebration of Nagoya’s professional football team, with themed fun and surprises.

Shachi Cafeteria – Summer Treats and Refreshments

Cool off with shaved ice, chilled beer, and other festival favorites. From local specialties to classic Japanese summer snacks, this area is perfect for food lovers looking to unwind.

Shachi Plaza – Games, Goldfish, and Family Fun

Rare Opening: Southwest Corner Watchtower

Matchlock Rifle Demonstration – Samurai Firepower in Action

Note: Admission to certain areas like the Hommaru Palace, Southwest Corner Watchtower, and Nishinomaru Okura Museum ends at 4:00 PM.
