Complete Details

Your historical journey begins with a warm welcome at the Naha Port terminal. Your licensed English-speaking guide and driver will meet you at the pier to escort you in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle to the southern reaches of the island.

The first stop is the Former Japanese Navy Underground Headquarters. This 450-meter network of tunnels was hand-dug to withstand intense bombardment. You will see the original rooms where soldiers lived and worked, including the chilling marks of the final days of the battle. We then move to the Himeyuri Monument and the Peace Memorial Museum, where the stories of the local community and student nurses are preserved as a powerful message for global harmony.

After a break for lunch (not included), we transition from history to natural wonder at Gyokusendo Cave, located within the Okinawa World park. You will stroll along safe, illuminated walking paths through nearly a kilometer of the cave, admiring the “Spear Ceiling” and crystal-clear underground streams. The tour concludes with a scenic drive back to the Naha cruise terminal, where your driver will return you directly to the gangway with plenty of time for boarding.
