The story revolves around twin brothers, who are frequently at odds with one another due to constant misunderstandings. The brothers are sent on a journey with cryptic messages over the rail network which makes them face memories of the past and family feelings. At various stations and locations along the line, players solve puzzles, slowly unveiling the brothers’ collective history and helping them come to terms with and reconcile with each other in a heartwarming story arc.
The main new idea in this second game is the two-course system. The player can play from the unique perspective of either twin brother, providing two different narrative perspectives and puzzle routes. The structure encourages players to explore different sights, neighborhood atmosphere and local landmarks along the Seibu Railway system as they progress through the story.
