Are you Visiting Japan soon?
Let us make your trip effortless. From tickets and hotels to transport and local guides, we arrange everything for you or your group. Whether it’s a music festival in Tokyo or a business conference in Osaka, our custom travel service ensures you enjoy the event stress-free.
The RIZIN Fighting Federation was founded in 2015 by former PRIDE Fighting Championships figurehead Nobuyuki Sakakibara to bring back the glorious golden era of Japanese combat sports. While Western promotions tend to be about the pragmatic octagonal competition, RIZIN makes fighting into a theatrical art. The fights are held in a traditional ten meter ring and not a cage, which pushes for dynamic, fast-paced engagements that reward decisive strikes and aggressive grappling. The promotion has pride rules, which means that kicks, stomps and grounded knees are permitted. It’s a very visceral form of martial arts, something that you won’t see in traditional Western promotions.
But RIZIN is more than the fight meat. It’s the spectacle and the cultural impact. The event production is world-class. Elaborate laser light shows, pyrotechnics, dramatic orchestral entrance themes, and iconic fighter announcements set the mood before the bell even rings. RIZIN acts as a cross-promotional bridge, regularly pitting top domestic kickboxers, Olympic judoka, and Japanese MMA stars against international champions from leading global organizations. Attending a RIZIN event in Tokyo means being plung into the high-octane blend of top-level combat sports, Japanese pop culture, and sheer athletic pride.
Why Experience RIZIN FIGHTING FEDERATION Live
RIZIN is a completely different vibe from a Western fight night. The crowd moves easily from breathless, hushed respect during complicated ground transitions to deafening roars during decisive knockouts. Inside the venue, international fans can experience the sheer acoustics of the entrance walkouts and the raw, uncensored intensity of live ring combat.
