Chisako Takashima, a Japanese violinist started “12 Violinists” to bring classical music to people through fun and high-energy shows. The group has twelve violinists and the pianist Aki Kondo. These musicians work hard to connect classical music with the kind of entertainment that everyone enjoys. Chisako Takashima studied at the Toho Gakuen School of Music and Yale School of Music. She has spent her career making the violin feel less intimidating by using great classical skills and talking to the audience like a real person.
For twenty years “12 Violinists” has stood out in the music world in Japan. When they play the twelve violinists perform arrangements of famous orchestral pieces, opera songs and modern tunes. A cool thing about “12 Violinists” is that they play the time while standing up and they do not use any music stands. To celebrate twenty years of music the FJ Next Presents Celebrating 20th Anniversary Concert Tour is their big attempt to visit every single prefecture, in Japan.
Some of the tour dates will include guest performers from the theater stages of Japan:
Yu Shirota: Appearing as a special guest for the Tokyo performance at NHK Hall on September 6, 2026.
Koji Yamamoto: Joining the ensemble for select dates, including the Aichi Prefectural Arts Theater (September 22–23, 2026), Tokyo International Forum Hall A (December 23, 2026), Festival Hall in Osaka (February 14, 2027), and the Okinawa Convention Center (February 28, 2027).
Attending a performance by Chisako Takashima & 12 Violinists gives a window into Japanese concert hall culture. The classical concerts in Japan are known for their acoustics, respectful audience etiquette and flawless production standards. The ensemble’s signature performance style uses fluid stage movement and complex musical coordination among thirteen instrumentalists. No conductor is needed. Hearing the sound wall inside venues such as the Tokyo International Forum or Osaka’s Festival Hall provides an unforgettable cultural experience, for international travellers.

Why Book Through Jasumo
Navigating Japanese event ticketing from abroad often presents distinct technical barriers:
Access: Japanese ticketing systems frequently require domestic Japanese telephone numbers, SMS verification, and participation in complex lottery draws (抽選). When primary allotments sell out, overseas fans cannot easily navigate secondary markets. We secure your seats through our wide network of sources, including organisers, official platforms, event owners, and verified secondary markets when official allocations end.
Communication: Official ticketing notifications, lottery updates, and delivery instructions are distributed exclusively in Japanese. Jasumo handles all official communications and provides clear updates directly to you in English.
Payment: Japanese ticketing platforms routinely reject credit cards issued outside Japan. We process transactions locally using Japanese payment systems, letting you pay smoothly online without card rejection issues.
Every ticket sourced through Jasumo is fully authenticate as genuine and delivered directly to your hotel or Airbnb in Japan via Japanese courier or postal services. A service fee applies to cover platform acquisition and local concierge handling, which will be detailed in full when you submit your enquiry.

How do concert ticket lotteries work for this tour?
In Japan, high-demand concert tickets are frequently distributed through advance lotteries (抽選), where applicants apply within a specific timeframe before winning entries are drawn. When you request a lottery-based performance, Jasumo manages the application process on your behalf and confirms the precise booking conditions in writing prior to payment.
Where is Tokyo International Forum Hall A located?
Tokyo International Forum is situated in the Marunouchi district of Tokyo, directly adjacent to Yurakucho Station and within short walking distance of Tokyo Station.
What is the venue policy regarding children?
Preschool-aged children are not permitted entry to the Chisako Takashima & 12 Violinists performances.
What happens if a concert date shows as sold out on primary channels?
Many dates on this 20th anniversary tour sell out rapidly upon general release. If your preferred venue is sold out on official platforms, Jasumo can still source genuine, authenticated seats through our established network of primary and verified secondary providers.
How are ticket orders priced?
An order total consists of the base ticket price, platform transaction expenses, and our service fee; because every venue and performance tier differs, please contact us for an exact price quote for your order.
