The musical ALICE, which is taken from the tale Alice in Wonderland will travel across Japan from 1 November 2026 to 23 February 2027. ALICE will visit cities such as Tokyo, Sapporo, Sendai, Kobe and Fukuoka. In Tokyo ALICE will perform for four days at Theater H. The lead role of ALICE will be played by Yumeha Tanaka, who will bring the character of Alice to life, on stage.

Why the musical ALICE matters in Japan
Musical ALICE From Alice in Wonderland brings Lewis Carrolls story, a tale that has been very popular in Japan through stage shows, movies and anime to theaters around the country. Naoki Nishida is responsible for the direction the script and the music with music by Masahiko Harigae and dance moves by Kumi Nakagawa.
Yumeha Tanaka takes on the role of Alice and Tomoko Fujita plays the Queen of Hearts. ROLLY, the glam-rock guitarist known for a style that stands out in Japanese pop music plays the Hatter, which adds a special attraction that goes beyond typical musical theater fans. The Cheshire Cat is play by two actors, Anna Tsuchiya, who is well known in Japan as a singer and for her part in the movie Nana and Mai Hoshino so the person on stage depends on which performance you choose to see.
The tour is very wide-ranging with Musical ALICE having 27 shows in 21 cities between 1 November 2026 and 23 February 2027 including a four-day stay at Theater H in Tokyo and a closing performance in Chiba.
