Explore Japan’s Coastal Beauty on a Scenic Full-Day Guided Tour
Escape the city and journey to northern Kyoto on this full-day guided tour to two of Japan’s most picturesque coastal destinations—Amanohashidate, also known as “Heaven’s Bridge,” and Ine Bay, home to Japan’s iconic floating fishing village.
Ride in comfort aboard a Wi-Fi-equipped, air-conditioned bus from Osaka and enjoy a relaxing day filled with scenic views, a ropeway ride, a peaceful bay cruise, and delicious local cuisine.
Your day begins at Namba OCAT in central Osaka, where you’ll meet your guide and board a comfortable coach. The journey north takes you through beautiful countryside to Amanohashidate, a pine-covered sandbar stretching across Miyazu Bay. Known as “Heaven’s Bridge,” it’s considered one of the top three most scenic views in all of Japan.
At Kasamatsu Park, take a ropeway ride up to a panoramic observatory where you can view the sandbar from above—many visitors view it “upside-down” between their legs, believing it makes the scene resemble a pathway to the heavens. Enjoy free time here to explore the area, take photos, and enjoy lunch with either a traditional shabu-shabu set or your own choice using a meal voucher.
Next, travel to Ine, a tranquil fishing village known for its rare “funaya” houses—traditional boathouses where the first floor houses a boat and the second is a living space. Board the Ine Bay Sightseeing Cruise to view these unique buildings from the water, and if you’re lucky, you may spot dolphins or seabirds flying alongside the boat.
After a peaceful cruise and a glimpse into traditional seaside life, return comfortably to Osaka by early evening.
