Experience Tokyo from the water with this scenic cruise aboard the Mizube Line water bus. Travel from the historical heart of the city in Asakusa to the modern, futuristic district of Odaiba across Tokyo Bay. Along the way, enjoy a fresh perspective of the city’s skyline and landmarks on this 1-hour cruise.
Skip the subway crowds and discover Tokyo from its historic waterways. This Asakusa to Odaiba river cruise offers a relaxing journey through the city’s river and bay system, connecting two of its most famous districts.
Begin at Asakusa Nitenmon Gate, located next to Sensoji Temple. Exchange your digital voucher for a physical ticket at the Sumida Park ticket booth (note: this is not the Tokyo Cruises booth). Choose from three daily departure times and board the Mizube Line for a 60-minute ride.
As the ferry glides past the Sumida River, enjoy views of the Tokyo Skytree, the tallest tower in Japan. Pass by key landmarks such as the historic Hamarikyu Gardens, a traditional Edo-period garden set against the modern skyline, and cruise under the Rainbow Bridge, one of Tokyo’s most iconic structures connecting central Tokyo to the Odaiba waterfront.
End your journey at Odaiba Marine Park, where you’re free to explore attractions such as teamLab Planets, DiverCity Tokyo Plaza, Aqua City shopping mall, and the giant Unicorn Gundam statue.

“A peaceful and scenic way to get from Asakusa to Odaiba. The boat was clean and punctual. Be sure to go to the right counter for ticket exchange—many people make this mistake.”
