What to Expect

During the special illumination period, the garden transforms into a magical nighttime landscape:

  • Deep reds, oranges, and golds lit by expressive lighting
  • Central lake creates a perfect mirror of the illuminated trees
  • Water-themed projection displays and waka poetry panels
  • Instagrammable photo zones across scenic bridges and ponds
  • Historic storehouse becomes a poetic light installation

Best Time to Visit

Weeknights are strongly recommended to avoid large crowds. On weekends, expect long queues, crowd control by staff, and movement restrictions in popular areas like bridges and the lakeside.

Photography is allowed (but tripods are prohibited), and visitors are asked to move along steadily for safety.
