Full Description

Hello! My name is Kiyoto, and I was born and raised in Kyoto. Interestingly, my name comes from “Kyoto,” which is rare even among Japanese people—maybe it’s fate that I’ve become a tour guide here!

In addition to sharing Kyoto’s beauty with visitors, I’m passionate about charitable efforts. I regularly participate in local street-cleaning events and have even organized large-scale cleanups in areas like Arashiyama and the Kamo River.

But my biggest mission today is fighting global hunger. I’ve joined a project that provides not just food, but nutritious meals to children in Malawi and other regions. These meals are served at schools, helping increase literacy, reduce child labor, and create local jobs in food production and agriculture.

To support this cause, I created this tour, combining four of my passions: Kyoto, running, bread culture, and giving back. For every participant, one month’s worth of food is donated to a child.

Join me to explore Kyoto in a fresh, meaningful way—and make a real difference in the world.
