Available from March 25th to April 11th, 2025, this exclusive seasonal tour takes you away from the busy sightseeing routes to discover the true Hanami experience—where locals enjoy the fleeting beauty of sakura blossoms in quiet, meaningful spaces.
The tour begins with a walk through Demachiyanagi, a neighborhood known for its local spirit and cultural richness. Your guide will lead you through peaceful temple grounds, hidden gardens, and historic shrines that come alive with cherry blossoms during spring.
Next, stroll through a lively Shotengai (local shopping arcade), sampling traditional sweets and snacks while chatting with friendly shopkeepers. Pause for a mini Hanami picnic, where you’ll enjoy seasonal bites and a refreshing drink (such as sake or a local beverage) under the blossoms.
To round off your evening, dine at a cozy, locally loved Kyoto restaurant. The chef-curated seasonal menu celebrates Kyoto’s spring ingredients, with fresh broths, handmade side dishes, and flavors unique to the region.
