With guidance from English-speaking staff, set your chopsticks on the stand and carve them using a traditional plane tool. Then, smooth out the edges and tips using sandpaper for a comfortable grip and elegant shape.
Once you’re satisfied with the form, apply a natural oil finish that enhances the wood’s color and durability. If you’d like to personalize your chopsticks, you can have your name or a favorite word engraved—either in Japanese characters or your own language.
