Faqs

Who is the director of this production and why is he famous?

The production is written and directed by Mitani Koki, one of Japan’s most celebrated creators. He is renowned for his “sitcom” style of theater and films, characterized by witty dialogue and complex plots where multiple characters’ lives intersect in humorous ways.

What is the difference between S seats and A seats at Nippon Seinenkan Hall?

S seats are typically located in the most prime viewing areas, such as the front and center sections of the first floor, offering the clearest view of the actors. A seats are usually located further back or on the second floor, providing a full view of the stage at a slightly different perspective.

Can international fans easily buy tickets for the Osaka performances?

Securing tickets for high-profile shows in Osaka like those at Sky Theater MBS can be challenging due to local membership requirements and Japanese-only interfaces. Our concierge service handles these hurdles by acting as your local representative to navigate the booking and payment systems.

Is there a specific dress code for attending a Mitani Koki theater production?

There is no formal dress code for these performances, but many attendees choose smart-casual attire out of respect for the cast and venue. As these shows are major social events in Tokyo and Osaka, dressing comfortably but neatly is the most common approach for theatergoers.

What should I do if the performance date I want is already sold out?

If your preferred date is unavailable on the official site, Jasumo can look into verified and trusted resale marketplaces within Japan to find a ticket for you. We ensure that even for high-demand shows, you have a safe and reliable way to attend the performance during your trip.
