Full Description

Your day begins at Hiroshima Station, where you’ll meet your bilingual guide and board a comfortable coach to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. This poignant space honors the victims of the 1945 atomic bombing and includes visits to the Atomic Bomb Dome, the Children’s Peace Monument, and the Peace Memorial Museum, offering a sobering but essential reflection on global peace and resilience.

Next, you’ll travel by coach and ferry to Miyajima Island, a sacred and scenic destination known as “God’s Island.” Here, you’ll explore the renowned Itsukushima Shrine, famous for its “floating” torii gate, which appears to rise out of the sea at high tide.

After the shrine visit, enjoy free time to explore Miyajima’s streets, filled with temples, shops, and snack stalls. Sample local specialties like grilled oysters and maple-leaf shaped momiji manju sweets. Friendly deer roam the island, adding charm to your walk.

The tour concludes with a relaxing ferry ride and return trip to Hiroshima Station, leaving you with meaningful memories of Japan’s historical and cultural depth.
