What to Expect

• Asahiyama Zoo
  A magical winter zoo experience. Watch penguins parade through the snow, red pandas being playful, and polar bears in their natural snowy habitat. A family favorite and a must-see during winter.
• Ken & Mary Tree
  This iconic tree, featured in a Japanese car commercial, is a popular photo spot surrounded by Biei’s beautiful rural landscape.
• Shirahige Falls
  “White Beard Falls” is a stunning waterfall flowing from volcanic rock cracks. In winter, the falls blend with snow and mist, creating a mystical view.
• Blue Pond (Aoi Ike)
  A surreal cobalt-blue pond surrounded by bare larch trees. Its otherworldly color is especially enchanting against the snowy backdrop.
• Fairy Terrace (Shikisai-no-Oka or Similar Scenic Spot)
  A breathtaking viewpoint that captures the wide landscapes of Biei and Furano—colorful in summer, serene in winter.
• Farm Tomita (Seasonal: June 15–September 15)
  Famous for its vast lavender fields and flower gardens. A dreamlike destination during flower season.

• Luggage:
  Bringing luggage? Please notify us in advance. A fee of ¥2,000 per item applies, paid in cash on the day.
• Communication:
  We will email the next day’s tour and vehicle info by 8:00 PM the evening before. Check your inbox (and spam folder). Stay reachable via Line, WhatsApp, or WeChat.
• Traffic & Delays:
  Traffic jams may lead to adjusted schedules. Please avoid scheduling flights or Shinkansen rides on the same evening.
• Weather & Force Majeure:
  • No refunds for poor photo conditions due to weather.
  • If an attraction is closed or weather prevents travel, the itinerary will be adjusted.
  • In case of complete tour cancellation (e.g., typhoon or snowstorm), you will be notified by 6:00 PM the day before.
• Group Tour Notes:
  • Mixed-language groups (Japanese, Chinese, English) may join.
  • Minimum group size required. If not met, the tour will be canceled with advance notice.
  • No mid-tour join-ins or compensation for missed pickup.
  • Seat requests honored when possible; final seating is decided by the guide.
• Children Policy:
  • Under 3 without seat: Free (must inform in advance)
  • Under 3 with seat: Adult fare
• Clothing:
  Dress warmly and wear comfortable shoes suitable for snow and ice.
