Created in 2010 by renowned lighting designer Motoko Ishii, Jewellumination pioneered the world’s first LED illumination inspired by gemstone colors, blending “jewel” and “illumination” into a sparkling spectacle. Starting as a winter highlight for Yomiuri Land, it quickly became one of Tokyo’s most beloved events, using custom jewel-toned LEDs in shades like Diamond, Ruby, Sapphire, and Amethyst.
