Faqs

Are preschool children allowed to attend all performances at the festival?

Most performances, such as the Keigo Mukawa recital and the Tokyo Philharmonic concert, do not permit the entry of preschool-aged children to maintain the acoustic environment. However, the Salon Orchestra Japan concert on May 4th is specifically designed for all ages, including infants from zero years old.

What should I do if the seat category I want is listed as “Sold Out” or “Only a few left”?

If official primary tickets are sold out, we can utilize our network of trusted Japanese resale marketplaces to find the seats you desire. Even if only a few seats remain, our bilingual team can act quickly to secure them before they disappear from the official platform.

Is Karuizawa Ohga Hall easily accessible for travelers coming from Tokyo?

The hall is conveniently located within walking distance of Karuizawa Station, which is easily accessible from Tokyo via the Hokuriku Shinkansen. The journey takes approximately one hour, making it feasible to attend a performance as a day trip or as part of a longer stay in Nagano.

How do I confirm my identity if I purchase an “Under 18” discounted ticket?

For tickets categorized by age, such as the Karuizawa Chamber Orchestra performance, the venue requires you to present a valid form of identification at the entrance. We recommend carrying your passport or a similar official ID to ensure smooth entry on the day of the event.

Can I choose between first-floor and second-floor S seats during the request process?

Yes, you can specify your preference for the first or second floor in your request through the Jasumo Contact Form. The second floor at Ohga Hall offers a unique perspective of the stage due to its pentagonal balcony layout, while the first floor provides a more traditional proximity to the performers.
