Ken Matsudaira and Korokke are two different types of stars in mainstream Japanese popular entertainment. Ken Matsudaira is an actor who is know all across the country for playing the main hero in the long-running historical TV show Abarenbo Shogun. He is also famous for a fun and song called Matsuken Samba II that became very popular online. Korokke is seen as the comedian in Japan when it comes to impersonation. He is well know for his body movement and his ability to copy voices. His performances have made people laugh for years on television.
This special show is celebrating 45 years of entertainment for both of these people. The performance has two parts. The first part is a stage play call The Rowdy Shogun THE STAGE 2 which’s a historical play. The second part is calle Matsuken & Korokkes Golden Paradise Show. This part has music, impersonations and lively dancing. Combining samurai stories with comedy acts is a special part of Japanese theater. These kinds of shows are very popular.
