Meet your guide at the designated meeting point near Kifune Ichinotani. From there, you’ll head to Kifune Shrine, one of Kyoto’s oldest and most spiritually significant Shinto sites. Nestled in the forested valley, this shrine is revered for its connection to water deities and natural purification.
After exploring the main shrine, continue to the middle shrine (Nakamiya), deepening your understanding of the Kifune triad. The entire area is filled with the peaceful sounds of rivers and rustling trees, making it an ideal spot for reflection.
You’ll also have the opportunity to try Mizu-ura, a rare and mystical fortune-telling ritual where your fortune appears on paper through water divination—something you can only experience at Kifune.
The tour concludes back at Kyoto Station by 4:00 PM, giving you a refreshing and enriching escape into Kyoto’s sacred nature.
