Embark on a captivating cultural journey to Kyoto and Uji, where Japan’s historic elegance and spiritual beauty shine through iconic temples, traditional streets, and picturesque landscapes.

Departure Details:

  • 8:00 AM from Osaka
  • 9:00 AM from Kyoto
    Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes early. You may choose to end the tour in either Kyoto or Osaka.

Tour Highlights:

Kinkaku-ji Temple (Golden Pavilion):
Start your day at Kyoto’s glimmering symbol, covered in gold leaf and nestled beside a reflective pond. This Zen Buddhist temple is a must-see and a celebrated UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Kiyomizu-dera Temple:
Perched on the hillside, this historic temple offers sweeping views over Kyoto. Explore the temple grounds and admire its architectural wonders, including the famous Kiyomizu Stage.

Ninenzaka:
Wander through this historic stone-paved street lined with tea houses and artisan shops. Try local treats like matcha ice cream or coffee from the well-known Masuda Tea Shop.

Yasaka Koshindo Temple:
A vibrant, Instagrammable temple known for its colorful “kukurizaru” balls and spiritual ambiance. It has even appeared in the popular anime “Detective Conan.”

Uji – The Birthplace of Matcha:
Breathe in the aroma of roasted tea as you explore Uji’s quaint streets and historic sites. Walk along the Uji River, visit Uji Shrine, and take photos of Byodo-in Temple’s Phoenix Hall, found on the 10-yen coin.

Byodo-in Omotesando:
This charming street is filled with matcha-related shops and Kyoto-style street food, offering a delicious break before heading back.

Tour Conclusion:
After a fulfilling day, choose to return to Osaka or remain in Kyoto, whichever suits your itinerary best.
