Faqs

What are the age requirements for the “Concerts from 0 years old”?

These specific performances are open to infants from birth. Children under the age of 2 can enter free of charge if they sit on a guardian’s lap, while children aged 3 and above will require their own ticket for admission to these family-oriented sessions.

Is it possible to purchase a single ticket that covers all performances over the weekend?

The festival operates on a per-concert ticketing basis, meaning individual tickets are required for each specific performance. There are no general festival passes, but our concierge service can help you bundle multiple individual ticket requests into a single coordinated booking.

How do I choose between S Seats and A Seats in the Large Hall?

S Seats are typically located in the most central and acoustically optimal areas of the hall, offering the best view of the stage. A Seats provide a more economical option while still maintaining excellent sightlines, though they may be located further back or in the side balconies.

Are there any restrictions on what I can bring into Biwako Hall?

Standard concert hall etiquette applies, meaning large bags, food, and beverages are not allowed inside the performance halls. However, the venue provides coin lockers and cloakroom services where you can securely store your belongings before the start of each concert.

Can I still enter the hall if I arrive after the performance has started?

Latecomers will be asked to wait in the foyer until a suitable break in the program, such as between movements or songs. Venue staff will guide you to your seat at the appropriate time to ensure that the ongoing performance and other audience members are not disturbed.
