Full Description

This immersive cultural experience starts with professional Maiko makeup application—white makeup is optional for your comfort. You’ll then be dressed in a stunning kimono of your choice from a selection of over 100 styles. The plan includes free Japanese socks, optional false eyelashes, and a natural or standard wig to complete the look.

Next, enjoy a professional photo shoot in a traditional Japanese room, where three photos will be taken and compiled into a keepsake photo book. You will also receive a USB drive with all digital images.

After your indoor session, step outside for a 60-minute stroll through Kyoto, capturing the grace of your Maiko look in real-life surroundings. The experience takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours in total.

Please Note:

This experience is not available to pregnant guests or those with skin conditions or under the influence of alcohol.

In case of rain or snow, the outdoor stroll will be replaced with a studio plan. You can receive 3 extra photos or change into another kimono for free.
