Meet your guide near Hiroshima Station and begin your early morning trek up Futaba Mountain, a hidden natural gem located right next to the city center. The journey begins with a visit to the historic Hiroshima Toshogu Shrine, known for its stunning architecture and sacred grounds.
Continue your ascent through the peaceful Kinko Inari Shrine, where the trail winds through torii gates and quiet forest paths. After approximately 25 minutes of trekking, you’ll arrive at the summit, home to the impressive Hiroshima Peace Pagoda.
From here, take in the panoramic views over Hiroshima City, Miyajima Island, and the Seto Inland Sea. Amidst this tranquil setting, your guide will prepare a Nodate-style open-air tea ceremony, allowing you to savor a fresh bowl of matcha while surrounded by nature.
