Full Description

This private guided tour is perfect for first-time visitors who want a deep and personalized introduction to Nagoya. With a local guide by your side, you’ll enjoy an immersive experience that blends history, culture, food, and everyday life.

The tour begins with hotel pickup or a meeting at Nagoya Station at 9:45 AM. From there, you’ll head to Nagoya Castle, where you’ll explore the samurai residences, learn about the Edo period, and view impressive historical architecture. Your guide will share stories about Nagoya’s role in the unification of Japan.

Next, visit Sakae, the vibrant city center. Here you’ll find Oasis 21, known as the “Spaceship Aqua,” and enjoy the scenic views from the Nagoya TV Tower, Japan’s oldest TV tower. This district is also ideal for shopping and capturing cityscape photos.

Around lunchtime, your guide will recommend a local restaurant where you can try regional favorites like miso katsu, tenmusu, or kishimen noodles. Food preferences and dietary needs are taken into account.

In the afternoon, walk through the atmospheric Osu Kannon shopping arcade, where centuries-old temples blend with trendy shops and street food stalls. Visit Osu Kannon Temple and explore nearby traditional shrines, offering a fascinating contrast to the urban landscape.

The tour ends around 3:30 PM with a drop-off at your hotel or a convenient location of your choice. Throughout the day, your guide will offer cultural context, historical insight, and local tips for exploring Nagoya further.

This experience is flexible and customizable—if you have any specific interests, just let your guide know in advance!
