Nara is one of Japan’s most treasured cultural centers, but by afternoon, it gets busy. Our Early Bird Tour lets you experience the city in its most peaceful hours.
Your guide will lead you through the historical wonders of Kōfuku-ji Temple, the sacred grounds of Kasuga Taisha Shrine, and the tranquil paths of Nara Park, where you’ll meet the famously friendly deer. Conclude your morning with the grandeur of Tōdai-ji Temple, home to the Great Buddha—one of the largest bronze statues in the world.
This is a great tour for travelers looking to beat the crowds, take great photos, and still have the rest of the day for more adventures.
Please Note:
- Arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before the start time. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated or refunded.
- Group size is limited to 12 people for a more intimate experience.
- Public transportation is used (train from Kyoto to Nara takes approximately 1 hour).
- The 4-hour duration applies to tours starting from Kyoto Station. For guests meeting in Nara (Kintetsu Nara Station), the tour lasts 3 hours.
