Spend a day discovering the rich heritage and natural beauty of Nara on this private walking tour with public transportation. Your journey begins at the Nara Prefectural Government Office rooftop, offering a panoramic view of the city’s historic sites—an ideal introduction to Nara’s cultural treasures.

From there, you’ll visit Todai-ji Temple, an 8th-century UNESCO World Heritage site that houses Japan’s largest bronze Buddha statue. The sheer scale and craftsmanship of the temple will leave you in awe.

Next, stroll through Nara Park, home to over 1,200 freely roaming sacred deer, and make your way to the tranquil Kasuga Taisha Shrine, known for its thousands of lanterns and forested surroundings.
