Why the NHK Trophy matters in Japan
The NHK Trophy has held since 1979. The Japan Skating Federation organises the competition and the Japan Broadcasting Corporation sponsors it which gives the event a national television presence across Japan. NHK Trophy was one of the five events when the ISU started the Champions Series in 1995 later renamed the Grand Prix Series.

The arena was constructe for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Now it is use for sports and other events. The view from seats on the fourth floors may be block by railings and glass. The in-arena screen can be partially hidden from some spots.
Keio Arena TOKYO is in Chofu, which’s in western Tokyo. It is a five-minute walk from Tobitakyu Station on the Keio Line. The Keio Line starts from Shinjuku. Ajinomoto Stadium is next, to the arena. Ajinomoto Stadium is the well-known landmark nearby.
