Your first glimpse of Nikko’s spiritual charm begins with the striking red Shinkyo Bridge, gracefully arching over the Daiya River. It marks the entrance to Nikko’s sacred heritage and offers a stunning photo opportunity.
Next, explore the grand Toshogu Shrine, surrounded by towering cedar trees. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is famous for its vivid colors, intricate wood carvings, and historical symbolism—including the famous “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil” monkeys.
The journey continues to Kegon Falls, one of Japan’s most magnificent waterfalls, with a drop of nearly 100 meters. Surrounded by natural cliffs and vibrant foliage, the falls are a breathtaking sight—especially during the fall season.
(Note: If access is restricted due to weather or road closures, a visit to Rinnoji Temple will be arranged as a replacement.)
Afterward, unwind by the peaceful waters of Lake Chuzenji, nestled at the foot of Mount Nantai. This volcanic lake offers calm surroundings, cool mountain air, and photo-worthy views.
As the day winds down, the tour returns to Tokyo, leaving guests refreshed by nature and inspired by Nikko’s timeless blend of culture, beauty, and history.
