About the Product

This camera body provides a significant upgrade in speed and image clarity over entry-level models. With the advanced EXPEED 5 image processor, you get cleaner images across the entire ISO range, allowing you to confidently shoot in dimly lit Japanese shrines or during night cityscapes.

Its DX-format sensor applies an approximately 1.5x crop factor to your lenses, giving you extra reach, which is particularly useful for wildlife or distant subjects like Mount Fuji. The durable build and weather sealing provide peace of mind as you move between different environments across the country.

Faqs:

How long do the batteries last on the Nikon D7500?

The Nikon D7500 is efficient, and we include two batteries in your rental package. For typical tourist shooting (a mix of stills and short video clips), two batteries should comfortably cover a full day of heavy use.

Do I need to rent a separate SD card for 4K video recording?

While we include a 32GB SD card for convenience, for reliable 4K video recording, we highly recommend using a high-speed SD card (UHS-I Speed Class 3/V30 or better). The included card is mainly suitable for still photography.

Can I use my existing lenses with this camera body?

The Nikon D7500 uses the Nikon F-mount, and it is compatible with most Nikon DX and FX (full-frame) lenses. Be aware that the DX sensor applies a 1.5x crop factor, which means a 50mm lens will have the field of view of a 75mm lens.

Is this camera body suitable for a first-time DSLR user?

The D7500 is an advanced enthusiast camera, but its touch screen and helpful auto modes make it accessible. It’s a great choice for those transitioning from phone photography who want superior quality and control, with plenty of room to grow.

How does the camera perform in low-light environments like night markets or bars?

Thanks to its wide standard ISO range of up to 51200 and the high-performance EXPEED 5 processor, the D7500 excels in low light. This makes it perfect for capturing the vibrant atmosphere of Japanese nightlife and dimly lit temples without needing a flash.
