Full Description
Step into a one-of-a-kind cultural experience in Shinjuku with a 90-minute performance that brings together three iconic elements of Japanese tradition: ninja, oiran (courtesans), and wadaiko (taiko drums)—presented through the bold visual storytelling of kabuki.
Opening in August 2024, this non-verbal show is designed to transcend language barriers, allowing all guests—regardless of nationality—to enjoy its immersive spectacle. From lighting and music to movement and costume, every detail is designed to draw you into a fantastical world that celebrates Japan’s rich performance traditions.
The show is overseen by Denjiro Tanaka VII, a kabuki master known for his role in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony. This unique collaboration offers a rare blend of modern staging and historical artistry.
