Schedule & Ticket Information

Background

The North JAM Session has built a long-standing reputation as a cornerstone summer cultural event in Sapporo, acting as a premier destination for musical innovation and community engagement. This milestone edition follows an extensive renovation period, bringing high-fidelity audio design and optimized layouts back to the forest stage. The structure balances rising domestic visionaries with institutional masters to highlight the expansive evolution of the genre.

Saturday’s presentation focuses heavily on heavy-hitting, forward-thinking collaborations and features special opening acts like the Sapporo Junior Jazz School alongside established regional modern ensembles. Sunday shifts into a prestigious global showcase under the banner of “North JAM Session meets BLUE NOTE TOKYO,” introducing complex global fusion icons and refined acoustic arrangements to close out the midsummer festival.

Faqs

Are there any age-based discounts or entry exemptions for younger children attending?

Preschool-aged children are permitted to enter the venue free of charge, provided they sit safely on an adult’s lap within the designated chair seating areas. For older youth, a discounted U25 ticket option is available for the general lawn area, which requires presenting a valid form of identification at the gate.

How do the different seating zones like the SS and S categories function?

The premium SS seats provide a guaranteed, pre-assigned chair location positioned close to the stage infrastructure for an optimal viewing experience. The general S seat tier functions as a free lawn area, allowing guests to relax on open grass spaces on a first-come, unassigned basis.

What are the guidelines regarding vehicle access and the parking reservation options?

Visitors planning to drive to the festival grounds must secure a dedicated parking reservation ticket in advance through the official system alongside their main admission pass. If the park’s official parking lots reach full capacity on the day of the event, vehicles without pre-booked passes will not be permitted to enter.

How does Jasumo simplify the ticket reservation process for international travelers?

Our service interfaces directly with local Japanese platforms like Doshin Play Guide to handle complex reservation fields, localized payment processing, and seat allocations. This allows overseas visitors to avoid language issues and secure verified event admission smoothly.

What is the cancellation or alteration policy if my holiday itinerary to Hokkaido shifts?

In accordance with the firm regulations instituted by the Sapporo City Jazz executive committee, all finalized ticket sales are definitive and cannot be refunded. The outdoor festival operates reliably rain or shine, so we advise verifying your availability prior to requesting our procurement services.
