Experience the Heartbeat of Okinawan Summer
The Okinawa All Island Eisa Festival is one of the most iconic cultural events in Okinawa and a true symbol of the island’s summer spirit. Held annually on the first weekend after Obon, the festival celebrates Eisa, a traditional Okinawan dance accompanied by rhythmic taiko drums, sanshin music, and powerful chanting.
Originally launched in 1956 as the All Island Eisa Competition to mark the founding of Koza City, it has since evolved into a nationwide celebration of Okinawan identity and youth spirit.
Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a returning fan, the All-Island Eisa Festival offers an unforgettable experience—colorful costumes, dramatic choreography, and Okinawa’s warm hospitality all in one place.
Details for the 2025 venue and ticket information will be announced soon.
