Why Prince Ice World matters in Japan
Prince Ice World is one of the running annual ice shows in Japan. The 2026-2027 edition, called THE REVUE ON ICE brings together a familiar group of Japanese skaters. Shizuka Arakawa won gold at the 2006 Winter Games in Turin and that win is still a key memory for figure skating in Japan. Daisuke Takahashi became the Japanese man to win an Olympic figure skating medal taking bronze in Vancouver in 2010. Kana Muramoto and Daisuke Takahashi dance together as an ice dance team.
