Continue to Hanamikoji Street, where you may spot a geisha amidst centuries-old buildings. Next, visit Yasaka Shrine, one of Kyoto’s oldest and most important shrines, followed by the tranquil beauty of Kodaiji Temple and the lesser-known but peaceful Entoku-in Temple.
After lunch in the heart of Gion, you’ll visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple, offering panoramic views of Kyoto and showcasing incredible wooden architecture. Your adventure continues with a stop at Yasaka Kōshin-dō, a temple famous for its vivid and colorful kukurizaru (wish balls).
