Get ready for an unforgettable two-day experience of music, nature, and community as Rising Sun Rock Festival returns in 2025! This iconic all-night outdoor rock event—first held in 1999—has become one of Japan’s most anticipated summer festivals. Set on a sprawling site surrounded by the natural beauty of Hokkaido, RSR is a vibrant pop-up town fueled by the passion of music lovers and built from the ground up each year.

- Cars, bicycles, skateboards, kick scooters, and other light vehicles are not permitted.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Sales, solicitation, or performances in or near the venue are prohibited.
- Dangerous or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the event without refund.
- The event may be canceled due to natural disasters, public health emergencies, or official regulations.
- Tickets will not be refunded due to weather changes, artist cancellations, or personal reasons such as illness or transportation issues.
- Refunds, if applicable, will not cover accommodation or travel expenses.

About the Festival
The Rising Sun Rock Festival (RSR) began in 1999 as Japan’s first all-night outdoor rock event. Built from scratch each year on bare land, RSR becomes a temporary music town — with electricity, water, stages, and community spirit — hosting thousands of fans under the night sky and the rising sun.
