The lights are switched on each evening from 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., casting a warm glow over the city as winter sets in. The mesmerizing light displays are free to the public, making it a perfect evening outing for families, couples, and anyone looking to experience the festive spirit.
While the usual opening parade was canceled in recent years to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, the event continues to be a spectacular celebration of light. Each night, the festivities include food stalls offering local delicacies, lighting ceremonies, and a series of delightful events that ensure there is something for everyone to enjoy.
The event period for 2025 will run from Friday, October 4th to Sunday, January 13th, 2026, with the possibility of an extension.
