Join a unique guided experience in Fushimi, Kyoto’s historic sake district, and immerse yourself in Japan’s sake culture. Begin your tour at Chushojima Station, where you’ll meet your guide and head toward the heart of Kyoto’s sake heritage.

Start your exploration at the Gekkeikan Okura Sake Museum, located in a beautifully restored former brewery. Learn about the 400-year-old history of sake production in Fushimi, one of Japan’s top three sake brewing regions, famous for its high-quality spring water.

As you stroll through the picturesque neighborhood, your guide will lead you to several cultural highlights including Fushimi Jukkokubune Canal, Kizakura Kappa Country, and Gokonomiya Shrine. Along the way, discover the legend of the mythical Kappa and insights into Japan’s Edo period.
