Why Sareee-ISM matters in Japan
Sareee-ISM Chapter XIII belongs to a wrestling series that Sareee created and produces herself, which gives the show a character that no ordinary promotion card has. Sareee began her career in 2011, became a former IWGP Women’s Champion, and later wrestled for WWE before returning to the Japanese scene as a freelancer. Sareee-ISM began at Shinjuku FACE in Tokyo, a small venue where the audience sits close to the ring, and the series has grown steadily since.
Sareee-ISM Chapter IX sold out, and Sareee-ISM Chapter X marked the fifteenth anniversary of Sareee’s career with a show at Yokohama Budokan on 22 March 2026. Seats sit close to the ring, so every row has a clear view. Korakuen Hall is located in Bunkyo ward, Tokyo, about five minutes on foot from Korakuen Station (Tokyo Metro Marunouchi and Namboku lines) and Suidobashi Station (JR Chuo-Sobu Line and Toei Mita Line), beside the Tokyo Dome complex.
