The sakura season in Osaka is brief but breathtaking. Even if peak bloom has passed, your guide will lead you on a Sakura Hunting Adventure to discover lesser-known, picture-perfect cherry blossom spots hidden throughout the city.
We’ll explore Kema Sakuranomiya Park, home to hundreds of cherry blossom trees lining the Okawa River. As we walk, you’ll find food stalls selling festival-style snacks. Feel free to grab anything you’d like to bring along to our hanami picnic, where we’ll gather beneath the blossoms and enjoy the cheerful seasonal atmosphere.
If the famous Sakura Tunnel is open, we’ll visit this beautiful pathway lined with multiple varieties of cherry trees in full bloom.
Cherry blossoms symbolize renewal, beauty, and impermanence in Japanese culture. Their fleeting beauty, lasting only days at peak, reminds us to appreciate the present moment—a concept closely tied to the Zen philosophy.
