This multi-venue circuit event transforms the district into a massive stage, linking iconic locations like Spotify O-EAST, Spotify O-WEST, and duo MUSIC EXCHANGE. The festival is renowned for its cross-genre programming, blending indie rock, jazz, electronic, and hip-hop to create a “synchronicity” of sounds that reflects the cutting-edge of the Japanese music scene.

Faqs

How does the multi-venue entry work for the main festival days?

On April 11th and 12th, you must first go to the designated exchange point (usually at Spotify O-EAST) to trade your ticket for a festival wristband. Once you have your wristband, you can move freely between all participating venues, though entry is subject to each venue’s specific capacity limits.

Is there an age limit for the late-night or club-style performances?

Most daytime performances at SYNCHRONICITY are open to all ages, but some specific sets or venues may require attendees to be 18 or 20 years of age. If you are planning to attend late-night sessions, please bring a valid passport for age verification at the venue doors.

Are drink fees included in the ticket price for the standing shows?

Drink fees are generally not included in the initial ticket price and must be paid in cash at the door of each venue. For the circuit festival days, you are usually only required to pay a drink fee at the first venue you enter to receive your daily drink token.

What should I do if a specific artist’s venue reaches full capacity?

Because SYNCHRONICITY is a circuit event, popular artists may perform in venues that reach capacity quickly. We recommend arriving at the specific venue at least 30 minutes before your must-see act begins to ensure you can gain entry before the doors are restricted.

Can I buy a ticket for just one of the participating Shibuya venues?

During the main festival dates of April 11th and 12th, individual venue tickets are not sold; you must purchase a 1-day or 2-day festival pass. However, the pre-events on April 4th and April 10th are separate ticketed shows held at single specific venues.
