What is Takoyaki?
Takoyaki is one of Japan’s most beloved street foods, especially popular in Osaka and Tokyo. These delicious savory balls are made by cooking a flour-based batter in a special griddle with half-spherical molds. Each ball contains a piece of tender chopped octopus, and once cooked to a golden brown, they’re topped with traditional garnishes like tangy sauce, creamy Japanese mayo, dried bonito flakes (katsuobushi), and green seaweed (aonori).

Your Experience
In this 1-hour session, you’ll be guided through the process of making takoyaki step-by-step. From preparing the batter to flipping each ball perfectly in the pan, you’ll learn the essential techniques to achieve the crispy outside and soft, gooey center that takoyaki is famous for.

Once your takoyaki is ready, sit down and enjoy your creation fresh off the grill—this is a meal you’ll be proud to say you made yourself! The experience ends when you’ve finished eating, with lots of fun memories and a new cooking skill to take home.
