Begin your karate journey with the most important lesson: respect. You’ll be taught how to bow, as karate starts and ends with a bow, and practice deep, controlled breathing to center your mind.
Next, engage in full-body stretching to warm up major muscle groups—hips, legs, shoulders, and chest—preparing you for the physical session ahead.
Then, learn the fundamentals of Kyokushin karate, one of Japan’s most renowned martial arts styles. You’ll practice:
- Basic punches, blocks, and kicks
- Proper stance and form
- Step-by-step instruction tailored to all experience levels
Finally, explore kumite (sparring) through non-contact drills. Learn how to defend yourself against front kicks, low kicks, and punches in a safe and controlled way, with clear demonstrations and feedback.
