About Edo Kiriko
Originating in the late Edo Period, Edo Kiriko is a traditional Japanese cut-glass technique known for its precision and beauty. Originally inspired by European crystal, it evolved to feature distinctly Japanese designs rooted in textiles and architecture. Today, the craft is preserved and practiced by artisans in Tokyo, using a blend of hand techniques and modern tools to create deeply detailed, elegant glassware.

Reviews from Visitors
“They were very understanding when one of my friends couldn’t attend, and allowed me to make two glasses. Do note that some glass types have additional costs on top of the workshop fee.”
“A fantastic introduction to glass cutting in a cozy workshop. The English-speaking instructor gave helpful advice, and the experience was excellent value for money.”
“Loved the class, though 90 minutes went by quickly. Our teacher was patient and spoke great English. It was a bit crowded, so hands-on help was limited, but still a worthwhile experience.”
