Meeting Times and Locations

  • Tokyo Station pickup: 8:00 AM
  • Shinjuku Station pickup: 8:30 AM

10:30 AM — Hakone Shrine & Lake Ashi Torii (80 min)
Start your adventure at Hakone Shrine, a sacred site dating back to 757 AD. Located on the shores of Lake Ashi, its iconic red torii gate set against the mountain backdrop makes for unforgettable photos.

12:10 PM — Hakone Pirate Ship Cruise (25 min)
Board a fun, pirate-themed sightseeing boat and cruise Lake Ashi. Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, the shrine gate, and Mt. Fuji (weather permitting). Note: cruise ticket not included.

12:40 PM — Hakone Ropeway (30 min)
Ride the ropeway high above Owakudani’s volcanic terrain. Watch the landscape shift below as you approach Mt. Fuji views and active steam vents. Ticket included.

1:10 PM — Owakudani Valley (50 min)
Explore the dramatic, otherworldly Owakudani. Try the famous “black eggs” cooked in natural sulfur springs—said to add seven years to your life!

3:00 PM — Lake Yamanaka (20 min)
A peaceful photo stop at Swan Lake, one of the Fuji Five Lakes. Capture graceful swans with Mt. Fuji towering in the background.

3:40 PM — Oshino Hakkai (40 min)
Wander the traditional village of Oshino Hakkai, known for its eight spring-fed ponds. Snap stunning reflections of Mt. Fuji in crystal-clear water and soak up the old-world charm.

4:20 PM — Return journey begins
6:20 PM — Arrival back in Shinjuku or Tokyo
