Beat the crowds and take in Kyoto’s most iconic sights—Fushimi Inari Taisha, Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion), and Arashiyama Bamboo Grove—in the peaceful hours of the early morning, all before lunchtime.
Kyoto is one of Japan’s most visited destinations—and understandably so, with its deep cultural roots, striking architecture, and stunning nature. However, these popular attractions often get crowded during the day. This tour is specially designed to start early, allowing you to explore the city’s must-see sites before the peak crowds arrive.
You’ll begin at Kyoto Station, where your guide will greet you and lead your small group (max 8 people) to Fushimi Inari Taisha. Walk through its iconic tunnels of torii gates and soak in the quiet spiritual atmosphere.
Next, travel by train to Arashiyama, home to the famous Bamboo Grove. Walk through towering stalks of bamboo swaying in the morning breeze, with fewer tourists around to interrupt the moment.
Finally, head to the legendary Kinkaku-ji, the Golden Pavilion, one of Japan’s most striking temples, with its gold leaf facade shimmering above a tranquil pond.
This is a walking tour using public transportation. It’s designed to offer an authentic and immersive Kyoto experience.
Starting location: Kyoto Station Central Ticket Gate (near Kyoto Tower and 7-Eleven)
From ¥15,700 per person
