Full Description

Get some light exercise while experiencing Kyoto’s rich heritage on this full-day guided cycling tour. The journey begins at the Cycle Kyoto office, conveniently located near Kyoto Station. After a safety briefing, hop on your bike and start exploring!

Nishi Honganji Temple

Your first stop is the peaceful grounds of Nishi Honganji, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Learn about its significance in Japanese Buddhism and admire its traditional wooden architecture.

Kitano Tenmangu Shrine

Ride to Kitano Tenmangu, a shrine dedicated to the god of learning. Your guide will walk you through the grounds and share fascinating stories of scholars and students who visit here for academic blessings.

Golden Pavilion (Kinkaku-ji)

Marvel at the iconic Golden Pavilion, one of Kyoto’s most famous landmarks. Enjoy 30–50 minutes strolling around its picturesque gardens and reflective pond.

Lunch Stop

Kyoto Imperial Palace
