Product Details / Description:

The Instax mini 41 is all about spontaneity. Forget digital files and editing; this camera delivers credit-card-sized photos right in your hand in approximately 90 seconds. It’s the perfect companion for documenting fleeting moments, instantly creating tangible souvenirs from your Japanese journey.

About the Product

The core feature of the mini 41 is its simplicity. The camera uses an automatic exposure control system (Lv 5.0 to 14.5) which detects the ambient light and optimizes the shutter speed (1/2 to 1/250 seconds) and flash output. This means you get a properly exposed print in various conditions without manually adjusting settings. The camera uses a 60 millimeter lens and a 0.37x real image viewfinder. The addition of a close-up mode simplifies shooting subjects between 30 centimeter and 50 centimeter, making it easier to take sharp portraits and close-up food shots.

The camera is powered by two common AA alkaline batteries, which provide enough power for approximately 10 film packs (100 photos) when new. This makes it easy to keep the camera running during long days of exploring. The film development time is roughly 90 seconds, turning your photo opportunity into an immediate, physical memento.

Faqs:

Is the INSTAX film included with the rental?

No, the film is sold separately. You will need to purchase INSTAX mini film packs in addition to the rental. Due to stock limits, we can only sell a maximum of 10 packs (100 photos) per rental camera.

What is the close-up shooting range?

The close-up mode is designed for shooting subjects between 30 centimeter (0.3 meter) and 50 centimeter (0.5 meter). This is ideal for portraits and close-up shots where you want sharp focus on a nearby subject.

How quickly does the photo develop?

The film development time is approximately 90 seconds. This time can vary slightly depending on the ambient temperature. After you take the shot, the camera instantly ejects the film, and the image slowly appears over the next minute and a half.

Can I use rechargeable batteries with this camera?

The camera is designed to use AA alkaline batteries (LR6). While rechargeable batteries (like NiMH) might work, the manufacturer’s specifications for number of packs shot (approx. 10) are based on new alkaline batteries. Manganese batteries are specifically noted as unusable.
